BSNL Rationalization GPRS/EDGE tariff under 2G mobile services

BSNL has decided to rationalize the GPRS/EDGE tariff under 2G prepaid mobile services with the following terms and conditions:-

Circles can suitably adjust the MRP in the price band upto Rs.5 (+/-) of above price considering the local market condition and technical feasibility. In case of J&K, MRP of STVs are exclusive of S. Tax.
Circles have to update their website and report the same to TRAI as per tariff reporting requirement of TRAI.
All other terms & conditions will remain the same.

The above revision will be implemented with effect from 17.04.2013 .

                           Revision of Optional SMS packs under postpaid mobile services has been implemented in Chennai Telephones with effect from 01/04/2013. 
i) Revised Optional SMS Packs under postpaid mobile services:-

 ii) Service Tax as applicable will be charged extra.
2. However, BSNL customer while roaming in BSNL network, the existing tariff for national roaming will be applicable.

Rationalization of tariff under 2G & 3G prepaid mobile

Plan ,Jai Jawan Plan & Roam Free Plan w.e.f.02-03-2013.

Karnataka Circle has rationalized the tariff of General, Pyari
Jodi, Student Special, Jai Jawan and Roam Free plans of 2G & 3G
prepaid mobile services as under w.e.f 02-03-2013. The existing Plan
Voucher of General Plan & Pyari Jodi Plan has been revised from Rs.180
& Rs.80 to Rs.175 & Rs.75.Hence the denominations Rs.180 & Rs.80 will
be withdrawn from C Top Up w.e.f. 02-03-2013.


Features of the special prepaid plans are rationalized as under:-

(a) Under Pyari Jodi Plan-Local voice call to one BSNL Fixed / WLL (Fixed/Limited
Mobility) number in his/her own name free up to thirty minutes per day. The call
charge beyond thirty minutes is revised from existing 20p/Min to normal call
charges.

(b) Under Student Special Plan-Reduced call charges to five friends & family local
numbers while in Home LSA: Three On-net Numbers @ 10p/Min (Existing) revised
to 15p/Min and Two Off-net Numbers @ 30p/min (Existing) to 35p/Min.

(c) Under Jai Jawan Plan- Twenty minutes per day free voice call to two
BSNL Mobile/Fixed/WLL numbers (combined) anywhere in the country while
in Home LSA or National Roaming.

Terms and conditions :

The VPNoWiMAX for General customers will be treated as an Add On service. Customer should opt for a minimum of Rs.750/- plan. However, customers may opt for higher Business WiMAX Plans also. The customer will be able to access either VPN or internet at a time.
